The Lead CSR serves as the primary support and resource for the Client Service team while working closely with hospital leadership, veterinarians, and technicians to ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. This role combines hands-on client service with leadership responsibilities, coaching, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Connect patients to doctors
- Lead and support the Client Service team to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences
- Serve as a role model for professionalism, empathy, and hospital standards
- Assist with training, onboarding, and mentoring new CSRs
- Support scheduling, coverage coordination, and workflow efficiency at the front desk
- Address client concerns and assist with service recovery when needed
- Maintain accurate medical records, client communication, and payment processing
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve processes and client service outcomes
- Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and culture
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Client Service Representative in a veterinary or medical setting (veterinary preferred)
- Previous leadership, training, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, emotionally charged environment
- Strong computer skills and experience with practice management software
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
