Here’s what you’d do:
- The Parts Returns Specialist/QA Inspector role and responsibility will manage defective parts returns to external suppliers and support Service QA activities.
- The objective will be to efficiently dispose of defective materials and support the general QA activities.
- Responsible for networking with the Service Logistics Team, Service Planner/Buyers, Quality Assurance Team, Engineering, and other departments as necessary.
- Coordinate shipping activity by staging material for returns to suppliers or internal factories and document shipment tracking information.
- Updates return disposition information in a shared file with the returns status.
- Engage with Service Planner/Buyers on returns activity or quality assurance concerns.
- Scrap defective parts physically and complete scrap transactions in the system as needed.
- Follows standard operating procedures with quality activities.
- Performing visual inspections and verification of parts acceptance.
- Communicate and coordinate recalls with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for stock checks in Service locations with any quality concerns and coordinating efforts globally on verification steps to verify part acceptance.
- Looking for continuous improvement opportunities to streamline the process.

Pay: $19.81/hr.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection, logistics, or materials management.
Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, independent worker with the ability to communicate, network, organize, and take the lead in process improvement.
