Quality Control Visual Inspector - Las Vegas

We are seeking a highly-motivated Quality Control Visual Inspector to join our Quality Team in Las Vegas, NV. The shift will be M - F 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

The primary purpose of the Visual Inspector role is to conduct post-production inspection on all sterile products to measure characteristics and ensure conformity to established specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as be assigned.

• Performs visual product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates
• Performs 100% visual inspection on all sterile product
• AQL visual inspection of finished product
• Affix disposition labels on the drug product containers
• Keep inspection room clean and organized
• Participate and/or facilitate training as assigned by lead or supervisor
• Support internal and external audits
• Document inspection results
• Work as an independent performer and continually improves performance
• Use current labeling processes and techniques.

Qualified candidate requirements:.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience in a pharmaceutical industry or pharmacy preferred. Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) required
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Principles of mathematical and statistical computations
