NDT Level II Technician Job Description

Monday - Friday (5x8s)

• Conduct material tests using magnetic particle method and Liquid Penetrant method.
• Identify material flaws, such as cracks, corrosion, or gaps.
• Assess material by analyzing and interpreting test results.
• Develop, update, and issue documentation on the test performed.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment to prevent damage and to ensure accurate test results.
• Adjust equipment settings depending on the type of material being tested.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in Non-Destructive Testing ().
• Level II in MT and PT ().
• Communication skills must be clear and concise to work effectively with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to interact successfully with a wide variety of people, work effectively within project teams, resolve issues and problems in a constructive manner, and work independently.
• Capable of the physical labor required, with personal protective equipment.
• Ability to:
  Occasionally move 50-70 pounds;
  Stand up to 80% of the day (often on uneven surfaces);
  Move up to 80% of the day, with frequent, bending and stooping.
