Job Summary Ensure the quality of products and processes through meticulous inspection and adherence to established standards, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality control plans.
Utilize various measuring instruments and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) accurately and effectively.
Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective actions as needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, including daily logs, defect reports, and test results.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to investigate root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
Participate in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and inspection criteria.
Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
Adhere to all company safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
