Professional Engineer – Asphalt Quality Manager
Jobot is hiring a Professional Engineer (P.E) to manage asphalt quality control. The role oversees production quality, compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other standards, and leads a team of quality control technicians.

Job DetailsSalary: $135,000 – $155,000 per year. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, bonuses (12‑20%), company phone, company car + gas card, generous PTO, sick pay, holidays paid, and additional perks.
Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of asphalt production, ensuring quality and compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise the quality control team, providing training and guidance.
- Conduct inspections and audits, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain consistent quality across operations.
- Manage laboratory equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring accurate testing results.
- Prepare and present regular reports on quality control activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asphalt production, quality control, and operations.
- Extensive knowledge of NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
- Experience managing a quality control team with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Excellent problem‑solving and proactive approach to issues.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
