Professional Engineer – Asphalt Quality Manager

Jobot is hiring a Professional Engineer (P.E) to manage asphalt quality control. The role oversees production quality, compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other standards, and leads a team of quality control technicians.

We are a leading provider of construction materials and infrastructure solutions, supporting large‑scale public and private projects. Our operations include asphalt production, paving, and advanced materials testing, with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

• Oversee all aspects of asphalt production, ensuring quality and compliance with NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage quality control processes and procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise the quality control team, providing training and guidance.
• Conduct inspections and audits, identifying improvement areas and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain consistent quality across operations.
• Manage laboratory equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring accurate testing results.
• Prepare and present regular reports on quality control activities, findings, and recommendations to senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asphalt production, quality control, and operations.
• Extensive knowledge of NDOT, ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
• Experience managing a quality control team with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Excellent problem‑solving and proactive approach to issues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
