We are seeking a handson Quality Control Technician to support manufacturing operations and ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process and final product inspections.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure quality procedures are followed.
- Verify raw materials, CoAs, FIFO, and expiration requirements.
- Maintain quality documentation, SPC charts, and statistical trends.
- Identify and properly segregate non-conforming materials.
- Support customer and supplier quality claims.
- Assist production with color matching, process control, and quality improvements.
- Operate and maintain quality lab and testing equipment.
- Train production employees on quality procedures and SPC.
- Ensure finished goods meet customer packaging and shipment requirements.
- Follow GMP and Good Documentation Practices.
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Plastics manufacturing experience preferred, particularly extrusion, injection molding, or compression molding.
- Experience with SPC, precision measurement, and quality testing equipment.
- Comfortable using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, durometers, spectrometers, and other inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
