Quality Control Technician

Compensation: $48,000 - $50,000 per year (based on experience)
Schedule:
M-F, 7 AM - 4 PM

Position OverviewOrigin Acoustics is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our Las Vegas team. In this role, you will help maintain the exceptional standards that define our products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with audio equipment, electrical circuitry, and product testing, and will play a vital part in ensuring every speaker, amplifier, and related product meets our performance and reliability benchmarks.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Las Vegas facility.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test finished products, components, and subassemblies to ensure they meet company quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Conduct electrical and acoustic testing on speakers, amplifiers, and related products using specialized test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
- Examine customer-returned products to identify, document, and communicate defects, deviations, and test failures to the Director of Quality Control and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production departments to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate inspection and testing records.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of QC procedures and testing protocols.
- Participate in incoming materials inspections and supplier quality verification as needed.
- 2-3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and test specifications (a plus).
- Proficiency with common test instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.).
- Must be able to lift ~ 40-50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate or Technical degree in Electronics, Audio Engineering, or a related field preferred.
