Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist to join the Phantom Works Quality Organization in Las Vegas, NV!

Join Boeing as a Quality Systems Specialist to drive world‑class safety and reliability across cutting‑edge aerospace programs. In this position, you will support quality defect reduction, root‑cause problem solving, and continuous improvement to ensure parts and processes meet the aerospace manufacturing standards.

• Leads Quality reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to ensure early quality involvement and program compliance
• Leads preparation and deployment of quality plans, directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to ensure compliance to applicable program, contract, working agreements and international standards
• Analyzes process data, metrics, and performance reports to identify root causes of problems and support continuous process improvement
• Conducts audits, assessments, and supplier reviews
• Collaborates closely with management
• Trains senior management on preparation for third party audits
• Uses statistical methods, continuous process improvement and quality tools to improve process capability and provides concepts for corrective actions
• Participates in preventive/corrective actions
• Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers’ ability to meet program quality requirements
• Works under minimal direction

• 10 or more years of experience working safety and quality processes and procedures
• 10 or more years of experience reading, understanding and interpreting engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications)
• 10 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
• Experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
• Experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
• Experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes
• Experience performing product inspection
• Experience in defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes
• Experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes
• Experience in design and quality reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated
