Spiegelworld is looking for a Beverage Server Part-Time to join the team at Atomic Saloon at the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. We are looking for a Beverage Server to join our bar team. The Beverage Server is responsible for being attentive to our guest’s needs by taking orders, making recommendations, upselling, clearing tables, collecting payment, and resetting tables for the next service.

Ultimately, you’ll help provide an exceptional guest experience by providing personable, attentive, and timely service. Successful Beverage Servers assist with guest’s needs, present an elegant appearance and convey a warm and inviting attitude toward all guests of the show. This position reports directly to the Venue Operations Manager. This is a non-union position that pays $12/hour. Current possible shifts are:
Tuesday 6PM-11:30PM, Wednesday 6PM-11:30PM, Friday 6PM-11:30PM, Saturday 6PM-11:30PM

• Stay guest-focused and providing exceptional service by making a positive impression on the guest.
• Serve beverages, food, and amenities in all areas of the FOH to include all areas of the Saloon including the Cow Hide, Watering Hole, Robin's Nest, Vestry, and all surrounding guest areas.
• Actively engage in our antiracist commitment and internal practices by participating in offered learnings, engaging in conversations around Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, and helping us maintain a safe and welcoming workspace.
• Create a work environment which promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction.
• Participate in in-house modeling programs, special events, banquet events, social media marketing, and model/presenter tasks and promotions
• Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol. Maintain awareness of all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages
• Ensure proper set-up and maintenance of stations. Perform all aspects of opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Adhere to staff privileges and responsibilities
• Maintain professionalism in both appearance and behavior at all times
• Adhere to seasonal uniform and appearance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by your manager.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Spiegelworld policies, practices, and procedures.

• Minimum of 2 years serving in a high-end bar or restaurant
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic spirits, wine, and beer knowledge is necessary
• Experience with cash handling and credit card transactions
• Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Must be teamwork oriented and self-motivated
• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls
• Effectively communicates verbally with staff, while reading, speaking and fully comprehending English
• Comfortable improvising in the moment as part of the guest experience.
• Able to work in a club/nightlife atmosphere with loud music and flashing lights.
• Maintaining any necessary licensing and work cards required, present and future. Must maintain proper safety and sanitation standards.
