**** THE JOB:
** As a Pastry Sous Chef at Bellagio, you’ll collaborate with our talented Executive Pastry Chef and Bakers to craft exquisite desserts that not only delight the palate but also create unforgettable experiences for our guests! With your warm smile and dedication to exceptional service, you’ll transform each moment into a delicious memory that guests will cherish long after their visit!

** THE DAY-TO-DAY:
*** Ensure requisitions are processed properly and placed in designated area
* Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
* Label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
* Maintain production knowledge and attention to detail with decoration and taste quality
* Assist Pastry Chef, other Assistant Pastry Chefs, bakers, and helpers as needed in execution of production
* Conduct training for bakers and helpers on job responsibilities
* Communicate with management and service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and employees
* Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling food and labor cost, and establish goals and objectives that focus on profit, product and people
* Assist Executive Chef and Pastry Chef by controlling of purchasing, receiving, purveyor lists and inventory of all kitchen items
** THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*** 21+ years of age or older
* High School Diploma or GED
* Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
* 2+ Years of prior relevant pastry experience
* 3+ Years of prior relevant experience in a similar resort setting with formal culinary training preferred
