Server - Universal Horror Unleashed

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for delivering best in class guest experience by serving food and/or beverage to guests. Must have a passion for hospitality, providing attentive and friendly service while greeting guests with intention to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintains knowledge of UHU menus and suggests offerings. Interacts and ensures all guest needs are attended to and accurately handles financial transactions.

• Ensures that guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service. Suggestively sells food and beverage items by possessing knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Ensures that orders are taken and placed accurately, checks on tables, provides condiments, replenishes drinks and/or bread.
• Ensures adherence to the Nevada State Liquor Statutes and food safety handling state requirements.
• Maintains positive guest satisfaction by answering questions, accommodating special requests, appropriately handling complaints to the guests’ satisfaction and/or soliciting assistance from leadership team as necessary.
• Operates cash register accurately and rings all items into the POS system. Follows all established cash handling procedures.
• Pre-buses tables, maintains area, organizes and cleans service stands and completes side work.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Any local or state required certifications or licenses.

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

• 2+ years of food server experience is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
