Job DetailsAs Assistant Local Manager
, you will work alongside our Local Manager to lead, develop, and motivate the local team to achieve personal, professional, and company goals.
- Promote a positive, collaborative environment and maintain our core values and policies
- Assist LM with preparations for opening day, including hiring completion, inventories, equipment setup/testing, staff scheduling, training, and learning proper opening/closing procedures
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home
- Address and resolve customer concerns or service failures appropriately to ensure optimal guest experiences and recovery
- Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by senior management
- Troubleshoot technical issues and elevate to IT or Local Management when needed
- Assist Local Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory, scheduling, training, and recruiting
- All other duties as assigned
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player who can work independently and understands the importance of leadership
- Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills, good judgment, and strong independent decision‑making
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling
- Professional attire and good hygiene are a must
- Available for mandatory pre‑season training
- Flexibility and willingness to work during peak retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week or as needed
- At least 18 years of age
- Previous retail or assistant manager experience; photography experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform easy, guided choreographed movement independently
