Starting Rate: $14.50 per hour.
What you’ll do
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with bakery purchases.
- Clean, stock, and rotate self-serve displays in the front of the store and in the bakery area.
- Take special orders from customers and coordinate with the Baker on items that may need to be baked or decorated.
- Assist with department cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Compliance:
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.

- Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers in the bakery department.
- Support daily bakery operations, including stocking, rotating, and cleaning shelves and displays.
- Assist with taking and processing customer orders and communicating special requests to the bakery team.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to customers and coworkers.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
