Position: Asset Protection Manager, City Center

The Asset Protection Manager, City Center in Las Vegas, Nevada is responsible for protecting company assets and educating staff on Asset Protection strategies to combat shrink. The APM also enforces policy, procedures, and standards set by the store, department, and company.

Asset Protection
  • Inform store management and staff of potential losses
  • Install and implement standards and procedures to control internal and external loss
  • Maintain a perpetual awareness of loss and strategies to control store inventory
  • Filter new information and procedures to lower store shrink
  • Constantly relay all corporate initiatives to store personnel
  • Constant monitoring of internal controls
  • Enforcement of compliances and company procedures
  • Develop relationships to maintain constant flow of constructive information to help drive the business
  • Protection of employees and maintaining awareness of safety issues
Training
  • Motivate Asset Protection staff and store personnel to embrace prevention strategies and techniques to further protect company and prevent store loss
  • Develop AP staff and security team to the next level (i.e. AP Specialist / APM)
Reporting

Provide weekly quantitative and qualitative reports on losses, recoveries, and violations of policy and procedures to departments and store management.

Profile

Skills:

  • 5-8 years Loss Prevention/Asset Protection/Security Supervision/Management experience
  • Investigation courses (i.e., Wicklander or Reid interviewing and interrogation)
  • Working knowledge of Security/Loss Prevention affiliated equipment (CCTV / Alarm systems)
  • Experience in supervising multiple staff members, management courses a plus
  • Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule
  • Retail experience – ideally in a multi-store environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer, systems and reporting skills
Additional Information

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $100,000-$110,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
