SummaryThe Inventory Specialist contributes to the essential responsibilities of the lounge inventory department, ensuring compliance with state and Planet 13 standards. Verifies and manages the delivery of products, enters data into the POS system, and prepares items for storage and consumption.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Support essential back-of-house tasks in the consumption lounge department, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Receive and fulfill all lounge orders, adhering to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle.
- Maintain accurate inventory across multiple guest transactions.
- Ensure product compliance labels are available for lounge guests.
- Adhere to health and food safety standards.
- Keep all lounge equipment, devices, and apparatuses clean.
- Maintain cleanliness in the back-of-house area and workstations.
- Facilitate dishwashing and sanitation for glassware, devices, accessories, and silverware.
- Accurately maintain the lounge destruction log.
- Ensure accuracy in daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts/audits for all lounge inventory (cannabis and non-cannabis).
- Maintain accuracy in all back-of-house lounge logs.
- Complete inventory procedures using an electronic tracking system, promptly addressing any discrepancies by notifying management and investigating reasons.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state and company standards, including inventory control procedures.
- Verify the delivery of new products, enter information into the POS system, and prepare products for lounge storage.
- Comply with company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
- Monitor inventory in Dutchie and METRC systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reporting all inventory discrepancies to management.
- Coordinate with the management team to discuss inventory plans and methods for error reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Promptly report all issues to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all company policies regarding dress code, personal hygiene, and appearance.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust possess a Nevada Consumption Agent work card and be 21 years of age or older. Must possess a Nevada Food Handler Safety Card. Possession of Serv Safe Food Safety Management certification preferred. OSHA
10 certification required within 6 months of start date. Annual METRC Retail Workshop training/certification required (company paid).
