Customer Service and Selling

• Provide outstanding customer service by identifying customer needs and further sales opportunities.
• Ensure that the best levels of customer care are always offered, offering all customers the opportunity to join the customer database while keeping the information confidential.
• Continuously work towards achieving and exceeding set retail sales goals, using knowledge of CHANEL products specificities to introduce further products and achieve cross‑selling between family products.
• Develop strong interaction and empower customers, creating differentiation and uniqueness as a brand.
• Identify customer profiles and needs to propose and sell newness for the 3 axes:
  Skincare, Makeup, & Fragrances.

Technical Skills and Administration

• Assist in analyzing sales results to recognize areas of opportunity and growth.
• Help build the account by achieving and exceeding sales targets, developing the business to increase sales volume and productivity.
• Ensure expert makeovers and skincare diagnoses are offered and meet required standards, providing in‑depth information on fragrance products.
• Assist with Chanel stock control and inventory management, including stocking shelves, receiving, and storing deliveries with asset protection focus.
• Carefully manage testers & samples, ensuring proper use and notifying when replenishment is needed.

Personal Effectiveness, Motivation and Presentation

• Demonstrate enthusiasm for selling, flair for the product, and excitement for providing customer satisfaction.
• Present an appropriate appearance, ensuring personal makeup meets CHANEL standards, demonstrating current trends, and adhering to uniform and grooming policies.
• Encourage and maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic, and professional work area reflecting merchandising standards and guidelines.
• Successfully complete the CHANEL Induction and all further training, including virtual and onsite sessions, and complete all available courses in the Inside Beauty app.
• Ensure presentation of Chanel products is visually appealing and merchandised to maximize sales per brand guidelines.
• Ensure items are correctly priced and maintain shop layout aligned with brand guidelines and store requirements.

Teamwork, Communication and Relationships

• Actively support and contribute to team success, demonstrating reliability and flexibility as the business demands.
• Communicate, contribute to, and share relevant and approved information with colleagues and other departments.
• Contribute positively in team meetings, trainings, and briefings.
• Maintain confidentiality of information when required by trainer or supervisor.

Probatory 3‑month period

• Communicate fluidly in English.
• Ensure expert makeovers, skincare diagnoses, and in‑depth fragrance information meet required standards.
• Complete all courses available in the Inside Beauty app.
• Achieve sales goals established by the Sales department.
• Maintain impeccable grooming, correct uniform, and boutique upkeep with correct stock replenishment and latest planograms.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, hygienic boutique reflecting merchandising standards and guidelines.
