Overview
Sales Lead – UGG, a brand of Deckers Brands (a division of Deckers Inc.)
As a Sales Lead, you will lead the customer experience, drive store sales, support the team, and uphold brand standards.
Responsibilities- Deliver personalized shopping experiences and create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the store.
- Accurately answer customer questions and resolve issues, ensuring customers leave satisfied.
- Communicate policies such as the return policy and UGG’s sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code.
- Assist customers by phone, providing the same level of service.
- Operate the cash register, handle money accurately, and reconcile sales transactions.
- Check inventory daily, restock merchandise, and ensure products are stocked and displayed according to Visual Merchandising standards.
- Keep the back‑stock and employee break areas clean, vacuuming, sweeping, and dusting as needed.
- Respond to theft or security incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Promote a positive work environment by recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining respectful workplace interactions.
- Support team members, communicate effectively with management, and cooperate to achieve store goals.
- Deliver the highest level of customer service possible.
- Prioritize brand and product knowledge and share this knowledge in customer interactions.
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, management and corporate stakeholders.
- Empower team members through communication and recognition.
- Contribute to the team and cooperate to achieve goals.
- Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Maintain knowledge of current trends and styles.
- Respond to problem situations with professionalism.
- Think critically to solve problems and approach challenges with agility.
- Preferred: 2+ years of retail store experience.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated team player and self‑starter.
- Strong team‑building skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility of schedule and hours to meet business needs.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
