Position Overview
Warehouse Driver/Operations Support Associates at Polo Ralph Lauren are essential to the efficient daily operations of our retail stores. Responsibilities include transporting merchandise between locations, receiving and processing deliveries, maintaining stockroom organization, and supporting inventory on the sales floor. This role also assists sales associates by conducting stock checks and delivering merchandise as needed. Responsibilities may vary by location, and flexibility is key to adapting to the store's specific operational needs.
Warehouse Driver/Operation Support Associates are the entry point for future Leadership roles within Ralph Lauren where you can begin to write your Next Great Chapter. This position may be offered as full-time or part-time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.
- Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Route Planning: Plan and execute efficient routes, utilizing GPS and local knowledge to minimize travel time and traffic delays.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks, including oil checks and tire pressure, and take vehicle to receive routine scheduled maintenance and necessary repairs.
- Mileage & Incident Records: Maintain accurate records of mileage, deliveries, and any incidents or issues.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Always ensure the safety of yourself and cargo; maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior.
- Scheduling: Adhere to assigned schedules and delivery timelines.
- Freight Processing: Process freight within specified Units per Hour goals, including markups/markdowns and EAS tagging.
- Delivery Inspection: Inspect deliveries for damages, verify packaging, and ensure proper sensor/tag placement.
- RFID Inventory Scans: Execute daily RFID inventory scans for accurate floor replenishment.
- Order Management: Manage "Ship to Home" orders and store-to-store transfers.
- Replenishment
Activities:
Complete ISOS replenishment activities and stock room resets. - Tagging & Retickets: Process retickets, create tags, and associate RFID tags.
- Stockroom Organization: Maintain organized stockroom and sales floor inventory levels using company guidelines.
- Customer
Experience:
Create memorable customer experiences through exceptional service. - Stock Checks & Delivery: Support Store Team with stock checks and merchandise delivery.
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs when on sales floor.
- Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions and follow company policies for returns, discounts, and customer data capture.
- Floor Maintenance: Maintain clean, welcoming sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Operational Balance: Balance operational tasks while prioritizing customer experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Participate in visual merchandising of sales floor.
- Store Presentation: Maintain store presentation standards following company guidelines.
- Feedback: Provide feedback to Management on product and category opportunities.
- Work Environment: Foster a positive work environment aligned with RL values.
- Team
Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with team members. - Training & Initiatives: Participate in training and company initiatives.
- Operations Support: Support store operations in both front and back of house functions.
- Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a box truck preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation systems.
- Back of house experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash-wrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers.
