Overview
New Balance is seeking a Retail Team Lead to assist with opening/closing the store, drive results, manage operational duties, and deliver a world-class guest experience. This role requires leading by example and aligning with New Balance’s Core Competencies.
Job MissionAs part of the New Balance Retail Leadership Team, full-time Retail Team Leads assist with opening/closing the store, driving results, operational duties, and delivering a world-class guest experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance’s Core Competencies.
Major Responsibilities- Be a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
- Be results driven in achieving store key performance indicators through training and development of associates
- Assist store manager in creating the schedule and lead floor moves when needed
- Deliver a great guest experience utilizing the GUEST service model
- Ensure operational readiness, including opening/closing the store, inventory control, and adherence to procedures
- Be involved in recruiting/interviewing/hiring of top talent
- Follow safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2 years’ retail supervisory experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical requirements:
lift up to 8 lbs regularly, lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, kneel/squat, stand for extended periods, climb stairs
Las Vegas, NV Retail Only Pay Range: $18.50 - $23.10 - $27.75 Hourly (base pay varies by experience, tenure, equity, location, and other factors).
