Role Overview

The Boutique Assistant at Cartier North America supports the execution of the client experience strategy, creating exceptional experiences aligned with Cartier's values—Open‑mindedness, Curiosity, Generosity, Sharing, Respect, Rigor, and Independence. In partnership with boutique management, the assistant delivers a tailored client journey, fostering brand loyalty and ensuring consistency across the network.
Responsibilities- Build extraordinary client experiences through hospitality excellence.
- Promote a warm and welcoming boutique environment that enhances the client journey in line with Cartier Values.
- Assist front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house team with activities to facilitate seamless client experiences, including appointment preparation, client entertainment, product presentation, sales finalization, gift wrapping, and food & beverage service.
- Support sales associates by setting a stage with impactful discovery and pre‑appointment browsing.
- Manage boutique traffic flow and daily appointment scheduling via the RDV tool and queue management.
- Maintain and replenish visual standards in wrap rooms and Client Services areas, supporting order processes and storage organization.
- Provide personal services such as directions, restaurant reservations, entertainment requests, floral orders, and creation of maps, literature, and other materials.
- Handle phone duties: answer calls, retrieve messages, and set appointments for inquiries.
- Assist clients with quick service requests and personalization services (e.g., strap changes, watch sizing, steam cleaning, cord changes, engraving, embossing).
- Participate in daily setup and breakdown of the boutique for opening/closing.
- Partner with the Operations Coordinator to manage stock maintenance of non-sellable items.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Stay current on industry news, local and global competition, and community connections.
- Uphold security and operational procedures and strive for operational excellence.
- Promote a collaborative and professional boutique environment, projecting approachability and professionalism through personal appearance and demeanor.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is a plus.
- Excellent computer skills and use of technology; MS Office required, SAP knowledge preferred.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift/move up to approximately 45 lbs. for prolonged periods.
- High energy, stamina, and capacity to work in fast‑paced environments.
- Physical demands include extensive standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

Expected Hourly Range: $24 to $25 (Overtime eligible). Salary is negotiated based on skills and experience. This position is payrolled through a third party.
