The Utilities Clerk will assist in maintaining the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the floor as needed. Duties include properly bagging groceries for customers, carrying groceries when requested, and ensuring the store is clean and safe at all times. Additionally, the Utilities Clerk will retrieve carts, run price checks, support go-backs, maintain the check stand, and remove waste from the parking area.

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers in all areas of the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Retrieve and maintain store carts, run price checks, and assist with go-backs.
• Carry groceries for customers when requested.
• Remove waste from parking area.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
