• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed. Bag groceries for customers when needed; carry out groceries on request. Maintain store cleanliness and safety. Retrieve and manage store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, support check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
