Position: Part Time Floor Leader

Weekly: 20-29 hours

About the Role: As a Floor Leader, you will support the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. Your day‑to‑day will be spent on the shop floor, leading and inspiring a team of sales associates to achieve and surpass their goals. You will foster a culture of passion and positivity, creating a productive and fun work environment that results in happy customers and employees.

The Floor Leader role is all about making the world a better place one soap at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Sales & Customer

    Experience:

    • Driving Sales: Use the Store Force dashboard results to provide coaching and feedback to the sales team, adjust the shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals, and grow the contribution of your segments to overall store sales.
    • Customer

      Experience:

      Lead by example in delivering a world‑class customer experience, including product demonstrations, and aim to exceed daily sales goals while building a loyal customer base.
    • Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values such as Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging.
    • Product Passion: Increase product knowledge through continuous learning and make informed product recommendations for every need.
  • Team Involvement:
    • Development: Train and coach sales ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge; take ownership of personal development and seek feedback.
    • Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging: Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives, and promote teamwork and recognition of unique contributions.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, including customer transactions, register operation, cash drawer reconciliation, nightly deposits, and store security.
    • Time and Attendance: Set an example in attendance and punctuality, monitor employee breaks, and ensure team members are informed about daily communications and task lists.
    • Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
    • Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices, support management with inventory tasks, and adjust product displays in real time.
    • Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening and closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety.
Qualifications Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in:
    • Customer service and sales
    • Cash handling and opening/closing procedures
    • Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
    • Problem‑solving issues related to customer service in day‑to‑day operations
    • A fast‑paced team environment
  • Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
  • Experience with consultation‑based customer service models
  • Experience analyzing sales metrics
  • Experience working in skincare or cosmetics
  • Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages

Pay: $16.50 – $16.50 per hour
