Position

Description:

As a member of the Museum’s floor staff, Birthday Presenter 1 plays a very important role in determining the quality of each visitor’s experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while creating a mission-oriented environment with excellent customer service and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provide excellent guest service by welcoming families and engaging with visitors throughout events.
* Lead party operations including check-in, setup, cleanup, prepare and lead party activities, assist with food service/catering, and prepare and distribute party invoices.
* Serve as a mentor when working with Teen/Intern Staff.
* Maintain knowledge of museum exhibits, follow daily checklists, and adhere to all museum policies.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality programs and a positive visitor experience.
* Support museum programming as a floor presenter and assist with after-hours events as needed.## Qualifications

Qualifications:

* High school diploma; must be 18 or older.
* Experience with children, families, or teens preferred.
* Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills with the ability to work with large crowds and provide solution based problem solving skills.
* Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on feet for long periods.
* Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings

Schedule:

Saturday: 9:00am – 5:15pmSunday: 11:45am – 5:15pmDepending on special events, additional hours may be required.
