Account Executive - Reno
Convergint is seeking a full‑time, results‑driven Account Executive to join our sales team in Reno. The role involves cultivating new relationships, understanding customer needs, and securing sales opportunities within the customer success and security integration services portfolio.
What you’ll do- Account Development:
Sell to dedicated accounts across physical security integration, cyber, maintenance, managed services, and transformational services. - Develop Pipeline:
Work with decision makers to assess need, build agreement on a business case, and establish a 3:1 pipeline over target. - Proposal Construction:
Lead the sales pursuit team to build winning proposals that include quotes, business cases, and unique value propositions. - Presenting & Closing:
Deliver proposals to decision makers, manage objections around timing, price, and competition, and drive timely go/no‑go decisions. - Market Focus:
Identify and develop pipeline for assigned markets including utilities, finance, healthcare, data centers, and government entities. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts:
Partner with designers, estimators, sales engineers, and partners to create and deliver compelling proposals. - Perform additional duties as requested or required.
- Strong problem‑solving affinity.
- Desire to learn and apply solutions to customer challenges.
- Ability to build customer confidence and cultivate business relationships.
- Proactive sourcing of sales & service opportunities.
- Adaptability to business changes and influencing skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Residence in Las Vegas, NV (supporting the Reno market).
Education:
College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience:
1–3 years sales or equivalent.
