Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships within a specific region.
  • Target new customer decision makers within an organization or agency.
  • Pursing assigned project leads and follow through to secure business.
  • Collaborate with Extron design engineers to ensure that customer requirements/needs are met.
  • Identify and attend trade shows and events within your region that are critical to Extron’s success.
  • Partner with Extron regional sales & technical colleagues to ensure channel partners and contractors lead with Extron solutions.
  • Have a strong understanding of Extron position in the marketplace and how to sell against competition.
  • Maintain and grow in-region manufacture partnerships that are complimentary to Extron’s efforts.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in relationship management, with a strong technical background, developing accounts and selling hardware and software system solutions & services.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, contract vehicles, information technology procurement requirements, and facilities management needs within a large organization.
  • Understanding of government contracts vehicles and corporate customers’ procurement cycles.
  • Expertise in strategically positioning video distribution systems and control solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, highly organized, computer literate.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
