Reporting to sales leadership, the Hardware Sales Representative will help develop and execute a sales strategy that drives new business revenue, pipeline growth and key performance goals for the Company. This role is foundational to IDS’s hardware sales efforts and offers opportunity for growth and advancement.
We are seeking a full-time, office-based Sales Representative in our Las Vegas, NV facility. This is a hunter-oriented sales role focused on prospecting, outbound activity, closing new customers and cross-selling into our large existing customer base. The position requires comfort with cold outreach, CRM usage, and collaboration with internal teams.
Pay includes a competitive base salary plus generous, un-capped commission structure.
Key Responsibilities- Sell IDS’s full hardware portfolio including – mobile computers, thermal/laser/MICR printers, Managed Print Services, office copiers and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions.
- Actively call and email prospective customers across IDS target industries, including warehouse/distribution, utilities, municipalities, manufacturing and healthcare.
- Drive new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calls, emails, networking, and trade show follow-up.
- Assist in planning and supporting sales and marketing campaigns, trade shows, and conferences.
- Work with internal teams to develop quotes, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline tracking, and KPI reporting within the CRM system.
- Report on weekly sales activity and progress toward goals.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B Sales.
- Las Vegas, NV office-based role.
- Experience with Zebra, Honeywell, Lexmark, Toshiba, Vertiv, Printronix, Dascom brands a plus.
- Comfortable driving “cold” leads into top of sales “funnel.”
- Experience selling hardware, technology, IT, or operational solutions.
- Familiarity with warehouse, utility, municipal, manufacturing and/or healthcare environments.
- Experience using a modern CRM a must.
- Willingness and ability to assist with customer installations and deployments locally.
