The Role
The Oncology Account Manager builds and maintains strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders in private practice, medical group practices, hospitals/academic medical centers, office, and ancillary staff involved in the care of cancer patients.
The role represents Genmab by providing approved disease and product information and resources to key decision makers within their assigned territory, encompassing Las Vegas NV, Phoenix AZ, Glendale AZ. Candidates must live within commuting distance of their territory.
- Effectively support Genmab's Oncology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by positioning the benefits and use of Genmab's products for appropriate patients.
- Demonstrate effective time management by focusing efforts on engagements that drive brand value.
- Develop and implement robust territory business plans centered on performance; meet or exceed territory productivity requirements.
- Flex between virtual and in‑person engagements and consider account communication preferences when developing business plans.
- Analyze key market data points and transform insights into effective business planning.
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers in all assigned accounts, continually challenging them with value‑based solutions.
- Represent Genmab's brands in a professional, compliant, ethical, and effective manner.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of disease states, Genmab's brands, and relevant competitor products and articulate value through all communication mediums.
- Show high proficiency in the broader reimbursement environment, with a deep understanding of reimbursement and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications.
- Exhibit highly effective territory management and superior selling competencies.
- Develop creative approaches to gain access to customers in the modern landscape.
- Foster team effectiveness by sharing knowledge, experience, and information.
- Manage territory resources and budget effectively.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing the conduct of Genmab U.S. staff.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years in sales, marketing, or clinical (pharmaceutical, biotech, rare disease, or patient care).
- 4+ years of demonstrated success in Oncology sales and/or account management; experience with oncology launches is preferred.
- Strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies, and a proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Proficient in business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and to develop, execute, and adjust territory business plans.
- Effective at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers and the customer influence network.
- Works effectively in matrix teams.
- Self‑driven with a track record of enhancing performance.
- Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, Veeva, and related applications.
- Flexible, able to manage multiple tasks, and attentive to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with contacts at all levels.

Proposed salary band: $–$. Actual offer will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives.
