Account Executive – Advanced Hemostasis and Healing (Las Vegas, Nevada, United States)
We are searching for an Account Executive to sell Ethicon’s advanced hemostasis and wound closure products to surgeons and hospital decision‑makers primarily in operating room settings within the Las Vegas, NV territory.
Responsibilities- Own the full portfolio of Ethicon’s comprehensive surgical devices and solutions, focusing on hemostasis, energy sealing and dissection, stapling, and wound closure platforms.
- Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision‑makers, primarily in operating room settings.
- Manage a defined sales territory, building relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors.
- Achieve sales forecasts for assigned accounts and territory.
- Set priorities and make business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
- Train clinicians in the proper use of products and manage customer questions and objections in line with product indications and training methodology.
- Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Analyze market data and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market information to support business planning.
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships and conduct customer education seminars as appropriate.
- Train clinicians to properly use products in the operating room.
- Handle customer objections consistently with product indications and sales training.
- Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, ethical, and compliant manner that drives results.
- Deliver persuasive presentations and conduct customer education seminars.
- Analyze data to support business planning and prioritize sales opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, with demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
- High growth sales performance and ability to target accounts and achieve results through a daily action plan.
- Strong collaboration skills with peers, marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
- Excellent time‑management, planning, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and team‑oriented skills.
- Experience in operating‑room sales of pharmaceutical or medical devices.
- Experience developing new, innovative markets.
- Business behavior, communication, consulting, cross‑selling, customer centricity, customer effort score, customer retention, execution focus, goal attainment, hospital operations, innovation, market research, medicine and device development and regulation, sales, solutions selling, sustainable procurement, vendor selection.
