Sales Account Manager - Existing Installation

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements.
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation.
  • Meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions.
  • Manage accounts receivable of your portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and sales objectives.
  • Partner daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities, qualify customer needs, and secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services.
  • Introduce new technology and associated services, clearly illustrating the value of these products and services.
  • Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while delivering on customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with product strategies and competitive market conditions.
  • Prepare estimates and communicate proposals with customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and files in accordance with procedures and ensure compliance with policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the elevator industry or related field.
  • Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling and closing skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Ability to empathize, listen and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Motivated, resilient, and customer‑focused mindset aligned with Schindler's values.
  • Experience with SAP and a results‑driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions.
