Breakthru Beverage Nevada is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our Off‑Premise Sales Team by covering sales routes, maintaining customer relationships, merchandising products, executing promotions, and ensuring excellent service across assigned accounts.
Responsibilities- Call on accounts and cover daily routes by creating an efficient routing pattern.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations that balance company priorities and customer needs, including selling display ideas, new products, cold box, shelf and back‑bar placements and resets, drink and wine lists, and promotions.
- Maintain product levels in accounts by taking inventory and restocking shelves where legal.
- Ensure maximum brand visibility within accounts by using effective and current point‑of‑sale materials when appropriate.
- Obtain payments for the company by collecting and delivering checks or other remittance from accounts where legally permissible.
- Educate account staff by conducting training seminars on brands.
- Service accounts by delivering products in extenuating circumstances, handling customer issues and complaints, and referring issues to management as appropriate.
- Strategize and plan how best to achieve sales and merchandising objectives by understanding company pricing and product programming each month and maintaining accurate historical account purchase information.
- Ensure national account compliance by accurately completing all necessary surveys.
- Attain performance standards by meeting distribution, volume, and activity goals for supplier brands set by management.
- Manage customer account receivables by processing credits and returns promptly and communicating with accounts on aged receivables.
- Stay informed of company/supplier activities and updates by attending and participating in weekly sales meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales.
- Basic PC skills using MS Office and other computer programs, including presentation software.
- Results‑oriented professional with verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- Analytic and reporting skills.
- Utilization of sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, team environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit.
- Understanding of wine and spirits.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
- Regularly required to reach overhead, squat, and bend.
- Carry and lift 45–65 pounds.
- Accountable for results that impact the department.
- Select best options from a set of defined procedures or solutions using common sense and experience with similar situations.
