Walker Furniture is looking for enthusiastic, motivated self-starters to join our winning team at our MLK and Henderson store locations! Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Experience:
At least one (1) year of related experience in a retail furniture environment is preferred but not required if you have the right attitude and drive.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Communication:
Strong ability to read, write and speak English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
Tech Savvy:
Comfortable working with computer systems, programs and email.
Resilience:
Ability to work productively and effectively under stressful conditions; such as, tight time frames and heavy workloads.
Customer Focused:
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle difficult customers with ease.
Initiative: A proactive approach, independent thinking and the ability to implement new ideas.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Retail Sales
Experience:
At least one (1) year of retail sales experience is preferred but not required
Tech
Skills:
Proficient with computer systems.
Customer Service:
Strong customer service skills and experience.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Active Role:
Most of the time will be spent sitting, standing and walking long hours.
Moderate Lifting:
Occasionally lift and handle materials or equipment up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
