Role OverviewAs an account executive you will sell new business and manage and grow a portfolio of clients through the full sales process.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial real‑estate industry and beyond.
- Manage and expand a portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth.
- Develop expertise in CoStar products and the commercial real‑estate market.
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, product demos, closing, onboarding, training, and renewals.
- Conduct in‑person meetings and deliver product demonstrations to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other professionals.
- Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term relationships.
- Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college or university.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in client management and post‑sale activities.
- Current valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- 4+ years of successful outside sales experience in B2B environment selling data, research or analytics platforms, or related fields.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport and trust.
- Interest and aptitude for the commercial real‑estate market.
- Experience managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
- Results‑driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction.
- Ambitious – thrives in a competitive, fast‑paced environment and is motivated by uncapped earning potential.
- Adaptable – quick to learn new concepts in an evolving product suite.

Base salary range $70,000–$90,000, uncapped commission plan, and generous benefits.
