As a Territory Sales Manager for our Veterinary Sales Team, you represent Pro Plan Veterinary Diets® to veterinarians, promoting specialized nutrition for dogs and cats with specific health problems. Your role involves developing expertise in the diets, creating strategic sales plans, and building relationships with veterinary providers to advance market share.

This position is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

• Promote the Pro Plan Veterinary Diet® product line.
• Grow the Purina Veterinary business using innovative sales and marketing concepts to achieve assigned goals.
• Call on existing and potential clients to create targeted brand‑building sales and marketing programs to drive volume and hit quantitative and qualitative sales goals.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans within assigned geography.
• Provide excellent customer service through a consultative selling approach.
• Work cross‑functionally with regional teams, distributor channels, and counterparts across the country.
• Influence clinic decision makers by understanding their business needs and leveraging consumer insights and trends.
• Develop and foster relationships with key decision makers to gain active recommendations of Purina to veterinary clients.
• Provide nutritional pet food diet expertise to veterinarians and staff via clinic calls, product detailing/comparisons, in‑hospital trainings, and special events.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1+ years of sales experience required.
• Valid state driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance:
• $100,000 bodily injury liability per person.
• $300,000 bodily injury liability per occurrence.
• $50,000 property damage.
• Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to relocate to the assigned territory if necessary.
• Physical ability to perform frequent bending, reaching below the waist and overhead, lifting up to 40 lbs, and sitting/standing for extended periods.

The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors including knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
