We are seeking a Sales Manager for our client on a direct hire basis at their North Las Vegas, NV branch and look to find an enthusiastic candidate to round out the team. Serving as the sales leader for the Las Vegas branch during a critical period of growth and transformation. This is a front-line leadership role. The Sales Manager is expected to set the standard for the team by how they show up every day, not just by what they ask of others.
Responsible for building and leading a sales team that is aligned, motivated, and performing at a high level through hands‑on coaching that genuinely elevates each person on the roster. This role requires someone who communicates with clarity and conviction, fosters real collaboration among their people, and keeps the team locked in on outcomes that matter: revenue growth, market share gains, and unmatched customer experience across the market.
Lead by modeling the behaviors, work ethic, and process discipline expected of every person in the department. Sets the standard personally before holding the team to it.
Spend weekly time in the field, deepening customer relationships.
Develop individualized growth plans that address technical product knowledge and selling skills. Hold the team to Deere certification timelines.
Runs structured monthly reviews covering the full range of daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations. Conduct biannual reviews tied directly to branch and company goals including volume targets, unit sales, market share, program participation, and business plan benchmarks
Lead monthly or bimonthly branch sales meetings focused on market intelligence, competitive positioning, program effectiveness, quoting best practices, and hands‑on product and process training. Bring best practices from across the company network into the Las Vegas operation.
Enforce and personally models a consistent, repeatable sales process that produces strong financial, market share, and customer satisfaction outcomes. Reviews quotes and deal packages regularly to ensure accuracy and alignment with company standards before they reach the customer
Work shoulder to shoulder with Parts Managers, Service Managers, Dispatchers, and Corporate Used Equipment leadership to make sure the customer experience is seamless from first contact through delivery and beyond
Take ownership of hiring and developing the sales team in coordination with the Branch Manager and corporate recruiting. Identifies talent that fits the culture and has the coachability to grow within it
Oversee whole goods inventory in alignment with Corporate guidelines.
Proven ability to coach and elevate a sales team, not just manage one. You've taken underperforming reps and turned them into contributors, and you've taken good reps and made them better. You measure your own success by what your people become
Deep comfort with a structured sales process and the discipline to enforce it without exception. You understand that consistency in process creates consistency in outcomes, and you don't tolerate shortcuts, especially with strong attention to detail on quoting, deal structure, and the financial integrity of every transaction.
Outstanding communication skills. You know how to have a tough conversation with a rep on Monday and rally the team on Tuesday, and your people trust you either way
Experience building a team culture where collaboration and individual accountability coexist. You don't pit people against each other. You get them pulling in the same direction toward shared goals
Meaningful experience in equipment sales, distribution, or a capital goods environment where the sales cycle is consultative and relationship-driven
Solid product knowledge across Deere, Allied, and competitive lines, or the kind of learning curve that earns respect quickly
Understanding of equipment financing: installment contracts, leases, RPOs, Deere Financial, and third-party options
Proficiency with CRM tools (Handle preferred), JDQuote2, Foresight,…
