Restoration Business Development Specialist

At Paul Davis Restoration, we help homeowners and businesses recover after disasters so they can focus on what matters most. As a Restoration Business Development Specialist, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with insurance professionals, property managers, commercial partners, and community stakeholders who rely on Paul Davis when property damage occurs. This is more than a sales role - it's an opportunity to become a trusted resource within the insurance and restoration industry while helping people navigate some of life's most challenging situations.

Experience working as an insurance adjuster, claims representative, agent, or within the property insurance industry is extremely preferred.

What Does a Restoration Business Development Specialist do?

As a member of our Marketing and Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with insurance adjusters, agents, carriers, and other referral partners to drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Represent Paul Davis with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters, agents, carriers, and industry partners
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, networking meetings, educational events, and presentations
  • Serve as a trusted restoration resource for insurance professionals and referral partners
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Promote Paul Davis services through relationship-building, industry involvement, and community engagement
  • Coordinate and attend industry events, association meetings, trade shows, and networking functions
  • Track business development activities, referrals, and sales opportunities using CRM software
  • Monitor referral trends and identify opportunities for market growth
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences and service delivery
  • Maintain consistent communication with referral partners before, during, and after projects
  • Support local marketing initiatives and community outreach efforts

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Experience working with insurance professionals, restoration contractors, property claims, construction, or related industries preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in restoration/construction business development, sales, account management, marketing, or relationship management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable conducting in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events
  • Organized with strong time management and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred

  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
