** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential property.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and respond to resident and visitor inquiries, assisting with entry protocols, amenity area rules, and/or directing individuals to the appropriate property management contact as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying property management and/or emergency services when appropriate, and assisting with scene control until additional help arrives.

+ Complete detailed written reports of daily activity, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to oncoming Allied Universal personnel and/or site representatives.

** Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.*
* + Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be 21 or more years of age.

+ Have a guard card or license preferred.

+ Have CPR certification preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
