Security Supervisor (Armed)

This position oversees the Security Officers on shifts, ensuring corporate and departmental policies and procedures are followed.

• Oversee and direct Security Officers regarding the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Walk all areas of the hotel/casino to assist guests and Security Officers.
• Communicate with Security Officers and guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Interact with other departments, employees, and guests to ensure proper security issues are addressed.
• Handle administrative issues including scheduling, attendance, and training.
• Protect company assets by ensuring Security Officers perform their duty.
• Review the appearance of Security Officers as they clock in to ensure they meet appearance standards.
• Communicate with the Security Manager and Security Assistant Manager regarding daily operations of the Security department.
• Operate a two-way radio to communicate with Security Officers and the control room.

• Valid Clark County Nevada Concealed Weapons permit.
• One (1) year of prior Security Supervisor experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in high paced and stressful environments.
• Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude.
• Ability to follow directions with excellent organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Function effectively under time constraints and established deadlines.
• Handle a fast-paced frequently changing environment.
• Valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card (must be obtained before entering position).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
