The Armed Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, property, and assets within various environments across the United States. This position requires vigilant monitoring of premises to prevent theft, violence, or any unauthorized activities, ensuring a secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients. The guard will respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, or security breaches, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

This role demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, and adherence to legal and regulatory standards governing the use of firearms and security protocols. Ultimately, the Armed Security Guard contributes to a safe and secure atmosphere that supports the operational success and reputation of the organization they serve.

• Valid Armed Security Guard license or certification as required by the state of employment.
• Completion of state-mandated firearms training and certification.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Clean criminal background check with no felony convictions.
• Ability to pass drug screening and physical fitness requirements.
• Valid Drivers License

• Previous experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws related to security and use of force.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Additional training in emergency response or crisis management.

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry to authorized personnel only.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including contacting law enforcement or emergency responders when required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
• Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras, metal detectors, and communication devices effectively.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees while maintaining situational awareness.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with security practices, firearm handling, and legal requirements.
