Security Dispatcher

The Dispatcher obtains information from individuals calling the Security Department and dispatches Security Officers, members of Management and other resources to a specific location, based on the information received. Monitors the front and back of house areas for suspicious activities, and coordinates efforts when medical or Law Enforcement need to access the property for a variety of reasons.

Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

• Interacting with other departments, employees, and guests to ensure proper security issues are addressed
• Oversee and maintain the proper release of all video coverage leaving the Security Monitoring Center
• Protect company assets by ensuring that Security personnel are performing their duties
• Ordering supplies and materials for the Security Monitoring Center
• Communicate with Security Shift management about various incidents
• Entering information into I-Trak, creating Incident Report numbers and uploading images and mission specific documentation

• Only current employees within the Security department can be considered for a position as a Dispatcher; to be eligible to qualify you must meet the following criteria:
  • Be employed within the Security or Nightlife Security team for a minimum of 30 days
  • Have no active discipline within the past six months
  • Must pass an in person interview for the position with Security Management
• Ability or working knowledge to inquire into the Charger back system
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor to man dispatch radios and telephones
• Possess working knowledge of a monitoring room environment or Dispatch center
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in very high paced and stressful environment
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude
• Ability to follow directions, excellent organizational skills
• Working knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment
• Function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines
• Handle a fast-paced, frequently changing environment
• Working knowledge of a digital radio and surveillance system
• A valid Nevada Gaming License and Alcohol Awareness Card are required and must be obtained before entering this position
• A valid NV Driver’s license is required and must be obtained before entering this position
