** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for restricted areas, verifying credentials, observing visitor movement, and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or response actions in detailed reports, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess supervisory experience.

+ Possess a CPO certification.

+ Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.

+ Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
