Job Schedule:
Thursday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity for restricted areas, verifying credentials, observing visitor movement, and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and/or response actions in detailed reports, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Possess a CPO certification.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
- Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
