Pay Rate: $20.96 / Hour

  • Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
  • Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces while verifying credentials, controlling access, and supporting compliance with location policies and post orders.
  • Assist with incident response, de‑escalation, and coordination with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel when situations require additional support.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
