Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help support order at the location and report concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing activities, and crowd management during busy business periods, special events, and/or after-hours operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
