A Special Response Team (SRT) Officer is responsible for providing highly visible professional security to any of Caesar's properties to complement existing security programs. An SRT Officer must act as a visual deterrent, intervene, and respond to all levels of security and potential emergency needs including violent acts or threats, emergency situations, and critical safety risks. They mitigate incidents through early detection and/or disruption of criminal conduct or other undesirable activity.

All SRT duties are to be performed in accordance with Enterprise and property policies, practices and procedures. This position requires specialized training in addition to day-to-day security operations, to include regular firearms and tactics training, and rigorous physical conditioning standards.

• Proactively identify and respond to emergency situations including in-progress acts of violence, crisis, weapons incidents, explosive incidents, natural disasters and a wide range of issues posing a hazard to lives and/or property using the appropriate escalation of force by following established protocols.
• Assist in emergency situations by securing the scene to prevent further loss or damage, advise personnel of threats and potential threats, summon emergency responders to the incident, and initiate and conduct evacuation procedures.
• Render appropriate first aid to injured persons and follow established protocols for reporting injuries.
• Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons.
• Demonstrated ability to follow supervisory instructions promptly and effectively, particularly during critical incidents such as active shooter or assault situations.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a current valid Nevada Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
• Must have a Nevada Gaming License.
• Ability to obtain a Concealed and Carry Weapons permit issued by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (Required) or HR218 LEOSA.
• Must obtain a Nevada alcohol awareness card.
• Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

• Creditable experience as a law enforcement officer, military police officer, or through service as a military special operations operator specializing in counter terrorism, dignitary protection, or as a Special/Security/Police Officer (SPO).
• Preference for candidates who have graduated from an accredited law enforcement academy or comparable course of instruction.
• Experience in decision-making based on training, directions, rules, regulations, and laws, and maintaining order and protecting life and property.
• Documented experience in use of force decision making in a public-facing capacity.
• Working knowledge of investigations with investigative and analytical skills.
• Must be tactful, professional, maintain confidence, foster an ethical work environment, prevent inappropriate behavior, and handle all situations honestly and with integrity.
• Able to communicate clearly with staff, management, and the public through oral and written words.
• Must be able to assume a role of authority in high-risk crises, exhibiting judgment, reviewing facts, weighing options, delegating responsibility, and empowering associates to make decisions with constructive feedback.
• Must show respect and adaptability to different values, cultures, or backgrounds when dealing with difficult people or situations, building long-term associations based on trust and helping others.
• Demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
• Must attend and pass all recurring mandatory legal, tactical, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR, firearms and other training as a condition of continued employment.
• Excellent customer service skills with interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

• Candidates must successfully complete required training, maintain appropriate levels of physical fitness, firearms proficiency, and tactical training, and pass all parts of required training.
• Must pass the physical and written testing of the Las Vegas Region Security Academy within the first ninety (90) days of employment.
