As a Security Officer you will play a pivotal role in providing a secure and welcoming environment for our guests, employees, and property. You are instrumental in maintaining crowd control, deterring theft, and preventing altercations within a high‑traffic restaurant and entertainment setting. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and well‑being of everyone on the premises, promptly respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional guest service.
Additionally, you will collaborate with local law enforcement to uphold law and order, contributing to making AREA
15 a vibrant and safe entertainment destination.
- Maintain a friendly demeanor and prioritize exceptional guest service.
- Ensure a safe work environment, responding promptly to injuries, and upholding safety procedures, health regulations, and liquor laws.
- Provide security, administer first aid, and report safety hazards.
- Assist guests while maintaining appearance standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and composure during emergencies and high‑pressure situations.
- Restrain intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests, or remove them from the premises.
- Direct emergency vehicles when called upon.
- Follow established procedures for guest assistance and employee support.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement to ensure security and protection, upholding law and order within the venue.
- Inform guests about AREA
15 facilities, activations, retail shops, and food & beverage locations. - Maintain a neat, well‑groomed appearance.
- Perform other assigned work‑related duties.
- Exhibit AREA
15's service standards at all times. - Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with varying sound levels, crowds, and smoke/haze.
- Ability to obtain a valid Nevada TAM certification (alcohol awareness).
- Ability to obtain an LVMPD Sheriff's Card.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and walking during shifts.
- Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to tolerate high temperatures, heat, sun exposure, and varying weather conditions.
- Maintain a professional, well‑groomed appearance according to AREA
15 standards.
