Job Description Summary

As a member of the Security Bike Patrol team, you serve as a highly visible and proactive presence, playing a vital role in safeguarding the property, guests, employees, and assets of the organization. By patrolling assigned areas quickly and efficiently, you help deter unwanted activity, respond promptly to incidents, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment throughout the property. Your vigilance and approachability make a lasting impact on both safety and guest experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
  • Patrol all exterior areas of the property including garages, parking lots, and surrounding buildings to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Manage traffic flow in and around the garage, assisting guests and reducing congestion.
  • Respond to and investigate incidents involving vehicles, suspicious behavior, and guest safety concerns.
  • Escort armored car personnel, trespassed individuals, and assist with in‑custody situations to ensure a secure and controlled environment.
  • Perform duties of a Security Officer, including maintaining presence, responding to alarms, and writing detailed incident reports.
  • Assist guests in locating lost vehicles and provide directions or escort to destination when appropriate.
  • Maintain company‑issued bicycle in safe working condition and remain mobile throughout assigned shift.
  • Act as a liaison with the Taxi Authority and assist in resolving guest transportation concerns.
  • Serve as fire control center officer or time officer to provide break relief when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws, company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
Qualifications
  • One year of law enforcement, military, EMT, or security experience.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety‑conscious work environment.
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
Requirements
  • Position classified as safety‑sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all required work cards as stipulated by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
  • Work cards:
    Alcohol Awareness Card, Nevada Gaming Registration, Driver’s License.
  • 10‑year DMV history report and concealed‑carry weapon permit.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Occasionally push/pull up to 75lbs., lift/carry up to 75lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels; occasionally squat, kneel, reach, bend, or twist; regularly standing and walking; frequently ride a bicycle for the duration of an eight‑hour shift; maintain weight under 300lbs. (including uniform) to comply with bicycle manufacturer’s published maximum weight limits.
  • Ability to communicate using in‑person speech, radios, and telephone; hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds in person.
  • Ability to differentiate shades of color; use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
  • Work Environment:
    Indoor/outdoor; smoky, noisy, bright flashing lights; extreme heights; extreme hot & cold temperatures; slippery surfaces; exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
