We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to lead and manage all security operations during assigned shifts, ensuring the safety of our guests, team members, and property at Ellis Island Casino and Hotel. The Security Supervisor is responsible for enforcing company policies, procedures, and service standards while promoting a culture grounded in our core values. This role requires strong leadership skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment aligned with company standards.

Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- Oversee all security operations and personnel during the assigned shift, assuming full responsibility for the safety and security of guests, team members, and property.
- Ensure all guests and team members comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Supervise, motivate, train, schedule, and evaluate performance of Security Officers on shift, maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings using prepared documentation and issue daily assignment sheets to ensure clear expectations and task coverage.
- Monitor completion of all required reports, logs, and documentation; review and approve incident reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Account for all security equipment and ensure its proper use, functionality, and availability during the shift.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments and external agencies during incidents, emergencies, or routine operations.
- Demonstrate strong situational awareness and the ability to remain alert and responsive in a high-risk, fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit sound judgment and decision-making, especially during emergencies or sensitive incidents, while adhering to established protocols and maintaining professionalism.
- Promote a culture of accountability and integrity, lead by example in upholding company values and ethical standards.
- Resolve conflicts diplomatically and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with both team members and external partners.
- Identify and respond proactively to potential issues; adapt to changing situations and assume additional responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing; present information confidently and respond to questions or concerns with professionalism.
- Uphold and enforce organizational policies and procedures consistently and fairly, even under pressure or in crisis situations.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field; prior experience in a hospitality or gaming environment strongly preferred.
