Fire Alarm Technician

Our client is seeking a Fire Alarm - Low Voltage Cable Technician to join their team. This role is a Full Time, Direct Hire Opportunity in Las Vegas, NV.

Successful candidates excel at and enjoy:

• Oversee and perform installation of low voltage infrastructure (CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, coax) for data, voice, access control, and surveillance systems
• Supervise or mentor junior technicians, ensuring safe, efficient work in the field
• Complete rack and stack tasks, closet buildouts, labeling, and system testing
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and site plans to ensure accuracy in all installs
• Perform splicing, termination, and troubleshooting of voice/data cabling
• Conduct operational testing and certification of installed systems (cable/network/security)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
• Commercial cabling experience - confident working on active job sites.
• Prefer OSHA
  10 Card
• Deep knowledge of Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic installations.
• Familiarity with IP-based security systems, NVR's CCTV, access control (preferred)
• Experience in punch down, labeling, cable dressing, and equipment installation. Must have own set of tools.
• Comfortable working at heights, on lifts, in ceilings, and using ladders.

Work Schedule:

6am-3pm

Salary: $28/hr - $30/hr - This role is not part of the union

Schedule:
Shifts may differ (1/2 hour lunch time)

Mon - Fri: 5am - 1:30pm or 6am - 2:30 pm
